Nepean Migrant Access Inc. (NMA) is an independent, incorporated non profit organisation funded by the Federal and State Governments and governed by a management Committee.

Nepean Migrant Access Inc. has been incorporated since 1986. From humble beginnings, where services were delivered from the garage of a charitable community member by a volunteer worker, NMA has developed into an energetic organisation that takes pride in the quality of its services and the outcomes achieved for the consumers of those services.

NMA is owned by its membership and is managed by voluntary management committee representing various local ethnic groups, community organisations and individuals living or working in the target area. The Management Committee is elected by the membership annually and has the responsibility of managing the organisation and the staff.

NMA supports the capacity building of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and individuals through the organisation and delivery of information sessions, skill development programs and participating and organising local community events. NMA works with individuals on a one to one basis to assist them with their settlement process and to access available and relevant services.

NMA supports government and non government organisations to fulfil their Access and Equity obligations by the development and implementation of culturally appropriate strategies and programs to better serve the needs of the CALD communities and individuals in the target area.

NMA is set up to provide relevant services and programs to address the needs of migrants, refugees, humanitarian entrants and long term residents from CALD backgrounds in the Nepean Region.  Those programs and services include:
